We love our older programs! They have served us well for several years and we can’t be separated from them. So, what happens over time when we buy a new computer and they do not work? A lot of compatibility issues can arise. It may or may not work and you may be spending a lot of time trying to fix the issue. While we value our loyal customers and their support over the years, our vintage products are soon going to be discontinued meaning you will not be able to access their content any further. What do you have to do? The answer is simple. You will need to upgrade to a program that we are currently supporting on the Broderbund and Encore website to continue to gain access to Technical Support and get product updates to fix important issues we may have missed when creating the software. Please note, that for many Print Shop and PrintMaster programs, if you have Print Shop 10 through 23 and PrintMaster 8.0 through 18.1, you can upgrade to Print Shop 23.1 which has been recently programmed to work with Win 10, these project files can be opened. If you have something outside of these programs, you will not be able to open the files and will have to start from scratch. We appreciate the loyalty our customers provide us and understanding of this situation as we work to provide a stable and consistent customer experience for all Print Shop and PrintMaster customers going forward.
