Official Rules

1. Eligibility. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. ENCORE SOFTWARE, INC., A NAVARRE CORPORATION COMPANY, (“SPONSOR”) IS THE SPONSOR OF THIS PRINTMASTER SWEEPSTAKES (“SWEEPSTAKES”). THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS OPEN ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES (EXCLUDING THE STATES OF FLORIDA AND RHODE ISLAND) WHO ARE EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AS OF OCTOBER 19, 2009 ("ENTRANTS"). IF YOU ARE NOT A RESIDENT OF THESE AREAS AND/OR YOU ARE NOT EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO WIN A PRIZE. To be eligible to win a prize, entries must be completed and received by Sponsor in the format designated below. Directors, officers and employees of Sponsor, its parent, and any of their respective affiliate companies, subsidiaries, agents, professional advisors, advertising and promotional agencies, and immediate families of each are not eligible to win prizes in these sweepstakes. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Offer void where taxed, restricted or prohibited. Limit one entry per household. In the event of any dispute, entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the e-mail address from which the e-mail was sent.

2. Disclaimer. Sponsor and its parent company, its subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, professional advisors, vendors, employees and agencies (collectively, “the Related Parties”), will not be responsible for: (a) any late, lost, misrouted, garbled or distorted or damaged transmissions or entries; (b) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or other computer- or communications-related malfunctions or failures; (c) any Sweepstakes disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of Sponsor or any Related Party; or (d) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes.

3. Sweepstakes Period. The Sweepstakes shall commence on October 19, 2009 at 12:01 AM Pacific Time (“PT”), and end on November 30, 2009 at 11:59 PM PT (“Sweepstakes Period”).

4. Grand Prize: One (1) qualified entrant (“Prize Winner”) shall win the following computer hardware and software: (1) an Acer laptop with an AMD Athlon 64 processor, 15.6-inch WXGA display, 2GB DDR2 memory, DVD-RW drive, 160GB hard disk drive; (2) Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic Edition; and, (3) a boxed copy of PrintMaster Platinum 2.0 software (total prize valued at $499.00).

Odds of winning a prize depend on number of eligible entries received. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.

All prizes will be awarded. Prize Winner will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility before they can receive their Prize. If a Prize Winner fails to meet the eligibility requirements, an alternate winner will be chosen. This process will continue until an eligible Prize Winner is found and the Grand Prize awarded. The Grand Prize will be shipped to the Prize Winner within thirty (30) days of being qualified as the winner of the Sweepstakes. Prizes returned as undeliverable or otherwise not claimed within fifteen (15) days after delivery of notification will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions or exchanges (including for cash) of any prizes will be permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for any prize. Grand Prize is awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose)

5. How to Enter.

i. To enter, go to the following website: http://www.printmastersweepstakes.com and access the PrintMaster Sweepstakes entry page. Then fill in all required information including first name, last name, e-mail address and date of birth. Submit your completed on-line entry in accordance with the on-screen instructions during the Sweepstakes Period. All entries will become property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. False or deceptive entries or acts will render the Entrant ineligible.

ii. In the event that you cannot enter the Sweepstakes electronically, send a postcard including your name, address, and date of birth to the following address:

6. Determination of Winners. Drawings for prizes will take place on December 1st , 2009. Prize Winner will be notified by e-mail within fourteen (14) days thereafter. To claim the Grand Prize, Prize Winner must follow the instructions contained in the notification. Entrants can only win once during the Sweepstakes Period.

7. Collection of Information. The information collected to enter the Sweepstakes will be used to contact you in the event that you are chosen to receive a prize. Additionally, Sponsor will use this information for marketing purposes, and to contact you regarding offers, promotions and other sweepstakes related to this and/or other products distributed by Sponsor and Sponsor’s select partners. Please note requests to be removed from the contact list can not be processed until after the sweepstakes ends. As stated above, the Sweepstakes is not open to Minors under the age of eighteen (18). In the event that you are under the age of eighteen (18) years and submit an entry to Sponsor, Sponsor will delete, erase or destroy any and all personally identifiable information that is obtained from the entry.

8. General Release. By entering the Sweepstakes, you release Sponsor and the Related Parties from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes or delivery, misdelivery, acceptance, possession, use of or inability to use any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.

9. Affidavit & Release. As a condition of being awarded the Grand Prize, Prize Winner will be required to execute, have notarized, and deliver to Sponsor an Affidavit of Eligibility, which includes an acceptance of these Official Rules and a release of liability. Failure to do so will result in disqualification of the Prize Winner and an alternate winner will be selected to receive the Grand Prize. Additionally, the Prize Winner agrees that entry and/or acceptance of the Grand Prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and their agencies to use the winner's name, address (city and state only) and/or likeness for advertising and trade purposes without further compensation, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media, now known or hereafter devised, including without limitation on the Internet, unless prohibited by law.

10. Winners List/Rules Request. For a copy of the winners list, send a stamped, self-addressed, business-size envelope after December 1, 2009 and before December 31, 2009 to Sponsor at the following address: PrintMaster Sweepstakes -Winners List, c/o Encore Software, 999 N. 12. Miscellaneous. The Sweepstakes and these Official Rules will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the United States. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to change these Official Rules at any time, in its sole discretion, and to suspend or cancel the Sweepstakes or any Entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor's control affect the administration, security or proper play of the Sweepstakes or Sponsor otherwise becomes (as determined in its sole discretion) incapable of running the Sweepstakes as planned. Entrants who violate these Official Rules, attempt to defraud or tamper with the operation of the Sweepstakes or engage in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to Sponsor, the Sweepstakes or any other Entrant (in each case as determined in Sponsor's sole discretion) are subject to disqualification from entry into the Sweepstakes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Sponsor reserves the right to lock out persons whose eligibility is in question or who have been disqualified or are otherwise ineligible to enter the Sweepstakes.
